We would like to send a big Wyoming thank you to all of you who have supported our campaign over the last few months. Your kind thoughts, helpful advice and constant support were always greatly appreciated. Whatever success we enjoyed was due to your commitment and it was truly inspirational to watch hundreds of new Walk Ons join the team. Although our campaign ended sooner than we had hoped, the Gosar for Governor Campaign is committed to advancing those issues that are important to the working people of Wyoming. We will continue to talk about equality in Wyoming, worker safety, access to public lands, the conservation of our natural resources, and the importance of diversifying our economy in our local communities. We are proud to have been born and raised in this great state, and we are committed to leaving a better Wyoming to the next generation. Thank you again and Go Pokes. The debates were sponsored by Wyoming Public Radio and the Associated Students of the University of Wyoming. Democrats and Republican candidates held separate debates. | Pete Gosar for Governor. Working for Wyoming. Wyoming has always been my home. Its beautiful places and wonderful people have forever left an imprint on me and I am truly grateful for having been raised in this great state. And although the people of Wyoming face challenging times, we will find our own solutions. But we will need an open and honest discussion, and I am committed to advancing that debate. I will talk frankly about the problems of a boom and bust economy and I will put names and faces to the discussion of sound fiscal policy. I am committed to advancing environmental solutions for our energy industries and I hope that this discussion will forever remove the idea that one comes at the expense of the other. I will try to make it understood that although our resources are vast, they are not limitless, and we must prepare for our future. I will try to impress upon the children of Wyoming that the key to their future begins in the classroom and that a quality education can truly change their lives. But most importantly, I will seek to remind people that in order to dream for a better Wyoming, we must first be committed to doing the work. And this work will have its own reward. When we begin to tackle our wild economic swings, we will find that we can innovate. When we balance our energy needs with our environmental duty, we will demonstrate our understanding. When we set our children on the path toward excellence, we will showcase our vision. And when we care for our young, old and infirm, we will confirm our compassion.
