Why won't my ibm thinkpad charge?
I know this is not a battery issue and I have tried multiple chargers but my laptop just won't charge. I think it is something within the computer.
I have called a computer shop in town, they said they can't fix it.
Do I need to send it to the company or should there be a repair shop that can fix this?

If your sure it is not the battery or charger, then I would assume the charger plug in the laptop has gone bad. I've seen it happen a couple of times. If the plug is soldered onto the motherboard, then it would need to be replaced by repair shop, or the whole motherboard would need to be replaced. If the plug plugs into the motherboard, then you should be able to pop it off and replace it, but good luck finding the replacement part.
